Concord house sells for nearly $1.3 million

Concord, N.Y. (WBEN) - A rural house that sits on a 70-acre swath of land has become the 67th private residence this year in Erie County to sell for more than $1 million.

The three-bedroom house, located at 2151 Genesee Road in the Town of Concord, sold for $1.299 million, making it the first $1 million-plus home sale in Concord this year.


The property's biggest selling point: The 70 acres that comes with the house.

Erie County is on a pace to see 107 homes sell for more than one million dollars this year - a benchmark that would set a new record for the third year in row.

Clarence is leading all county towns and cities with 25 homes selling for more than $1 million followed by 21 in Orchard Park and eight in Amherst along with four in Buffalo.

The Erie County Clerk's office recorded 105 $1 million-plus home sales last year and 84 in 2024 meaning in the past three years - and with four more months to go in 2026 - Erie County has had 256 homes sell for more than $1 million.

Homes selling for north of $1 million are considered a key economic benchmark in the region's residential real estate industry.
