Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Sunday's win for the Buffalo Bills over the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium was turned on its head in the second half.

The Bills staged a monster comeback, battling back from a 24-7 halftime deficit to win, 35-31.

New dad Dawson Knox caught two touchdowns from soon-to-be dad Josh Allen, including the one in which the Bills took the lead.

"I was interviewing Dawson Knox on the field right after the game," said Sal Capaccio, Bills sideline reporter for WGR Sports Radio 550.

As Sal was interviewing Knox, fellow tight end Dalton Kincaid ran over and said, "It's dad strength, Sal. It's dad strength."

Knox and his wife became parents last week to daughter Noa Elizabeth Knox.

"The re-emergence of Dawson Knox is something to see in this offense," added Sal. "He's always been a guy that Josh has trusted. They've been together since 2019, Dawson was drafted the year after Josh arrived. They're really finding a connection again."

Sunday's win also happened two days after Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, announced they're expecting their first baby.

Over his last two games, Knox has had nine catches on 10 targets for 130 yards, two touchdowns, and a two-point conversion. He has become the Bills' all-time leader in touchdowns by a tight end.
