Clarence, N.Y. (WBEN) - For the fourth time this week, Erie County has recorded the sale of homes going for north of $1 million.
And, in this case, two homes - both in Clarence - went for well above the $1 million-plus sales threshold.
Sold:
- A four bedroom house at 8654 Sandcherry Court that went for $1.8 million.
- A house at 5677 Glenbrook Court sold for $1.11 million. The five bedroom house has 3,660-square-feet.
The two deals are the 36th and 37th private residence, this year in Erie County, to sell for more than $1 million.
In Clarence, thus far, 12 homes have sold for more than $1 million.
With the trend of homes selling for north of $1 million continuing in Erie County - to the pace of one every four days - the county is on a track to see as many as 85 private residences sell for more than $1 million this year.
Last year, Erie County recorded 105 homes selling for more than $1 million.
The sale of homes crossing the $1 million-plus threshold is considered a key economic indicator within the region's residential real estate industry.
