Dozens of cars vandalized in West Seneca

West Seneca, N.Y. (WBEN) - Early Monday morning, West Seneca police say there was a widespread act of vehicle vandalism off of Indian Church Road near Union Road and West Avenue, where approximately 40 vehicles and counting were damaged - primarily slashed tires and broken windshield wipers/side mirrors.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male dressed in all black around 4:45 a.m. this morning and canvassed the area. The suspect was not found on scene.

Police urge those in the area to do the following:

- Check any home security or doorbell camera footage from early this morning, particularly from around 4 a.m.-to-5 a.m. Police say even a short clip may help.
- Upload any footage that shows any suspicious people, bicyclists, or vehicles directly to WSPD's secure evidence portal.
