(WBEN) Early Saturday morning a person was killed in a house fire near Niagara University in Niagara Falls. Reportedly the school has notified students and staff in an e-mail that while the death isn't officially tied to the school, but there are reports that the person was connected to the Niagara Community.
Police say it happened on Wyoming Avenue and the home was fully involved in flames when crews arrived on scene. Firefighters were forced out of the building due to heat and flames. The victim was found once the fire was out.
