(WBEN Buffalo, NY) Buffalo Police say a 27 year old Buffalo male was declared dead early Saturday morning at ECMC.
He was shot during a drive-by shooting that happened at approximately 10:20pm on New Year's Eve on the 198 eastbound at the 33 westbound on-ramp.
Authorities say a 22 year old Buffalo male is listed in critical condition at ECMC.
Police say the two were struck by gunfire while inside of a vehicle.
Detectives say the suspect or suspects were in another vehicle.
In a separate case, Buffalo police are investigating a double fatal shooting that happened early Saturday morning.
Northeast District officers responded to the call just after 5am Saturday morning in the first block of Elmer Avenue.
Detectives say two males were found deceased inside of a residence after being struck by gunfire.
Buffalo police say the incident was targeted in nature.
