ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WBEN)....Former Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has sold his Orchard Park residence - some six months after he was let go by the team.
McDermott sold his six-bedroom house at 14 Woodstream Trail in Orchard Park's upscaleThe Summit at Schreff subdivision.
The buyer is listed as Four Plus One WNY LLC, who paid $1.6 million for the house.
McDermott bought the house, which sits on 2.1 acres of land and has 6,227-square-feet and a four-car garage, in May 2017 shortly after being hired by the Bills.
McDermont paid $998,500 for the house - meaning its value rose slightly more than 60% in the past nine years.
The McDermotts have relocated to North Carolina.
The deal is the 46th sale of a private residence, this year in Erie County, that has exceeded the $1 million benchmark - a key economic indicator in the region's residential real estate industry.
Erie County is pacing for 85 homes to be sold this year that exceed the $1 million-plus sales threshold - that averages to one every four days.
Orchard Park has had 18 homes, this year, sell for more than $1 million.
Last year, Erie County saw a record 105 homes sell for north of the $1 million-plus benchmark.
