Orchard Park, NY (WBEN) - Kaleida Health and The Buffalo Bills are offering a new fundraising event that will let people explore more of the new Highmark Stadium.
The Hike for Health will bring people along one of several hiking trails through the stadium, allowing people to get a close-up look from top to bottom.
"We worked with the Bills to think about how we could provide a unique and special experience with the new stadium, and also do some good," said Kaleida Health Vice President and Chief Development Officer Andy Lashua.
Registrations are still open for the event, which has already raised over $230,000.
"The event will benefit the Kaleida Health Foundation, which supports our caregivers and our patients, helping to invest in technology, helping to invest in family support services, and to make sure that our caregivers have the best that we can provide to them," Lashua said.
The first annual Hike for Health takes place in Highmark Stadium this Saturday, October 10.
