CLARENCE, N.Y. (WBEN).....For the second day in a row, a Town of Clarence private residence has become the latest Erie County house to sell for more than $1 million.
In the latest deal, a nine-year-old,,3,500-square-foot, four bedroom house at 5551 Meadow Glen Drive in the Spaulding Green subdivision sold for $1,405 million.
The deal follows a newly-constructed home in Marrano Homes' Woodland Hills subdivision selling for $1.134 million.
For Erie County, the Meadow Glen Drive house is the 90th private residence, this year, to sell for more than $1 million - which is considered a key economic threshold within the region's residential real estate industry.
Clarence, which has 33 homes this year selling for more than $1 million, accounts for nearly 37% of all $1 million-plus house sales in Erie County.
