Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Erie County's record-setting pace of private residences, this year, selling for more than $1 million continues.
This marks the third year in a row that Erie County has set a new benchmark when it comes to the sale of private residences going for north of the key $1 million benchmark.
With two deals filed Nov. 2 in the Erie County Clerk's office, the county is up to 110 homes, this year, selling for more than $1 million.
Last year, Erie County had 105 homes sell for more than $1 million and, in 2024, the county recorded 86 homes selling for beyond the $1 million threshold.
In the two latest deals:
* A four-bedroom, decade-old house at 26 Ashdale Circle in Amherst sold for $1.5 million.
The deal was the 17th, this year, in Amherst to go for more than $1 million.
* And, in the Pasquale building within Buffalo's Waterfront Village, a three-bedroom house sold for $1.15 million.
The sale of homes going for more than $1 million is considered a key economic touchpoint within the region's residential real estate market.
