Hamburg, N.Y. (WBEN) - New York State Police arrested a suspected child predator Wednesday, September 17.
Seth Powell, 22 of Hamburg, is charged with Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, both felonies.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Boston and Troop A Computer Crimes Unit conducted an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation in the town of Hamburg. The investigation found Powell was in possession of and disseminating child porn.
Powell was arraigned in the town of Hamburg Court and remanded to Erie County Holding Center.
He's schedule to appear in court Monday, September 21.
