Independence Day fireworks showings in Western New York

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Towns in-and-around Buffalo are preparing to celebrate Independence Day with fireworks, food trucks, and live music with festivities starting on the July 3, and some even going through the July 5.

Find information about celebrations from towns and cities in Western New York below.

JULY 3:

Town of Aurora - Hamlin Park is the home of the town's 34th annual Independence Day celebration. Food, live music, and activities start at 1:30 p.m. with fireworks concluding the festivities at 10 p.m. (rain date is July 4 at 10 p.m.)

Town of Akron - Veteran's park will host food trucks from 5 p.m.-to-9 p.m. before their firework show starts at dusk!

City of Buffalo - Sahlen Field hosts KeyBank's 29th annual Independence Eve. The Buffalo Bisons will host the Rochester Red Wings at 6:05 p.m., with a concert from Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and fireworks following after.

Town of Cheektowaga - Cheektowaga Town Park will host it's Third of July festival starting at 5:30 p.m. with fireworks starting at dusk.

Village of Depew - Fireman's Park is hosting The Boys of Summer concert at 7 p.m. with fireworks starting at 10 p.m.

Hamlet of Olcott - Krull Park is the perfect place to watch boats drive by fireworks shot over Lake Ontario starting at 10 p.m.

Town of Tonawanda - Kenney Field will have food starting at 6 p.m. with live music from 7 p.m.-to-9 p.m., before a firework show beginning at 9:30 p.m.

JULY 4:

City of Dunkirk - Dunkirk Memorial Park will have food and live music, with fireworks to conclude the night at 9:30 p.m.

Town of Elma - The Boys & Girls Club by Iroquois High School is hosting a firework show at dusk!

Village of Kenmore - Log Boom Park will have music, food, and drinks starting at 7:30 p.m. with fireworks beginning at 10 p.m.

Town of Lancaster - Firemen's Park will have a firework show celebration beginning at 10 p.m.

City of Lockport - Outwater Memorial Park will have fireworks starting at 10 p.m. (rain date is July 5 at 10 p.m.)

City of Niagara Falls - Niagara Falls State Park hosts fireworks every night from July 1-4 starting at 10 p.m. Spots to watch include Prospect Point, Luna Island, and Terrapin Point.

Town of Orchard Park - Annual parade will begin at Orchard Park High School at 8 p.m. and ends at the Orchard Park Library's Pavilion. From there festivities will begin until fireworks start at dusk.
