AMHERST, N.Y. (WBEN)......West Seneca-based Marrano Homes has taken one of its final steps before it can begin developing Julie's Orchard - its latest local residential-anchored project.
Marrano Marc Equity Corp. paid $8 million to acquire a long vacant, 67-acre parcel at 4300 Millersport Highway from fellow home builder and frequent development partner Cimato & Sons.
Cimato developed the roads and infrastructure within the land before selling the property to Marrano.
Plans call for Julie's Orchard to have 53 patio-styled homes with models ranging from 1,300-square-feet to more than 2,100-square-feet and having anywhere from two bedrooms to four bedrooms.
Combined the sale of all 53 patio homes could exceed $30 million.
Construction will start later this fall and the first units should be move-in ready by late next summer.
