Cheektowaga, NY (WBEN) Cheektowaga Police charge a Lackawanna man with aggravated DWI after he was found passes out in his vehicle on Union Road Tuesday night.
Police say they initially got reports of a car striking a building. It turned out Sikes' car had struck another parked in a driveway. Police say Sikes was found passed out under the influence of a narcotic drug.
Police say Sikes' 4 year old child was in the back seat. Neither Sikes nor the child were injured. The child was returned to his mother when she arrived at the scene.
Sikes has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Aggravated DWI (with a child under the age of 15), Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
Sikes was issued an appearance ticket, and is still currently at ECMC.
