Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A police chase held up traffic on the I-190 in the City of Buffalo on Friday morning.
The Buffalo Police Department says a suspect jumped out of his car on the 190 around 9:15 a.m. ET near Austin Street. He then jumped over the center barricade and ran into the woods.
Police officers chased the suspect and caught him before bringing him back to the 190, where he was arrested.
The result was a lengthy backup on the I-190 in both directions between River Road and the Scajaquada Corridor.
