Castile, N.Y. (WBEN) - Letchworth State Park is closed to the public as a manhunt takes place inside the park for a person of interest in a morning murder near Rochester.
State Police say they are assisting Irondequoit Police in the search for the person in connection with a homicide. Police there say a man in his 80s was shot dead in his home around 6am.
Police say the victim and suspect knew each other, living a few doors down from each other. Police are searching for a gray Acura.
Troopers are asking you to stay away from the park as the manhunt continues.
