Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo Police made an arrest in connection with the death of a bicyclist earlier this week.

43-year-old Kenneth James of Lockport was arraigned Friday morning before a Buffalo City Court Judge on a count of Manslaughter in the First Degree.

Buffalo Police say James shot the victim with a BB gun Monday afternoon as the victim was riding a bicycle on Broadway near Krettner Street in Buffalo. The victim, a 38-year-old male, died at the scene.

James is scheduled to return to court on Wednesday for a felony hearing. He was held without bail.

If convicted of the charge, James faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison.
