PENDLETON, N.Y. (WBEN) – A Lockport woman has died following a Tuesday afternoon crash in the Town of Pendleton.
New York State Police identified Peggy Ann Shea-Robichaud as the person who died following the head-on crash at Beach Ridge Road.
Police identified the driver of the truck that hit her car as 18-year-old Alexander Maldiner. Around 1:15 p.m., police said Maldiner's truck was driving westbound on the road when he passed an uninvolved vehicle and lost control while entering the westbound lane. Shea-Robichaud, 70, was driving eastbound when the accident happened.
No charges have been announced. Police said it is still an active investigation.
