Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A Buffalo man has been arraigned for trying to rape a woman on Monday.
22-year-old Hunter Saxbury is charged with trying to force the victim to have sex, and subjected the victim to unwanted sexual contact.
Saxbury is charged with Attempted Rape in the First Degree (Class "C" felony), Sexual Abuse in the First Degree (Class "D" felony), and Obstruction of Breathing (Class "A" misdemeanor).
Saxbury is scheduled to return on Friday, April 12 at 2 p.m. ET before Buffalo City Court Judge Carrie Phillips for a felony hearing.
Prosecutors requested that the defendant be held without bail. The court set bail at $75,000 cash, insurance company bail bond or partially secured surety bond.
A temporary order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
