Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Buffalo man is charged with murder in the death of his infant son.
37-year-old Reginald J. Jordan of Buffalo was arraigned yesterday before Buffalo City Court Judge Barbara Johnson-Lee on one count of second degree murder.
Prosecutors say on September 20, 2019 irst responders went to an apartment on Grote Street in the City of Buffalo for a report of an infant that was not breathing. The child, 6-month-old King Jordan, was taken to Oishei Children's Hospital where he died two days later.
Jordan is accused of shaking the baby and causing blunt force injuries to the child's head and neck, which resulted in his death.
Jordan is scheduled to return on Friday morning for a felony hearing. He was held without bail.
If convicted of the charge, Jordan faces up to 25 years to life in prison.
