Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Buffalo police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred just after 9pm Wednesday night in the 200 block of Walden Avenue.
Buffalo police accident investigators say a Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue and when turning northbound onto Barthel Street -did strike a motorcyclist, who was traveling westbouund on Walden Avenue.
Investigators say both the driver of the Toyota and the operator of the motorcycle were transported by ambulance to ECMC.
Authorities say the male operator of the motorcycle was later declared deceased at the hospital.
The 64 year old driver of the Toyota has been treated and released. Three minors in the vehicle were checked out at the scene by emergency personnel.
Authorities are attempting to identify the motorcycle operator.
No charges have been filed at this time but the investigation is ongoing.
