Amherst, N.Y. (WBEN) - New University at Buffalo President Caroline Attardo Genco joined WBEN on Thursday morning to share her vision for the University's future.
"This is really a strong foundation," Genco told WBEN about the University. "That's why I was so excited to come back to lead the University as we continue on our journey to becoming a preeminent top-25 public flagship, that's really my goal."
Genco will take over as the University's 16th president on Aug. 10. The Buffalo native is currently the chief academic officer at Tufts University, and will become the first female President in UB history.
