Niagara Falls police investigate weekend death

Niagara Falls, N.Y. (WBEN) - Two people of interest have been questioned in connection with a deadly weekend stabbing in the City of Niagara Falls.

Police were called to a home on Vanderbilt Avenue early Saturday morning for a disturbance. Officers were en route when they learned there may have been a stabbing. When police arrived at the scene, they spotted an unresponsive male on the floor.

The man was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The two people of interest were later released following the interview pending further investigation.

No names are being released currently, as this is an active and ongoing investigation.
