Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A federal trial date for the Tops shooter has not yet been set.
A status conference today ended with a 90 day adjournment in the proceedings. The next status conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. on June 15 and will be overseen by Judge Kenneth Schroeder.
The shooter's defense team says it needed more time to go over the evidence in the case.
The judge did not go along with a prosecution request to set up a schedule of set dates and actions that needed to be met over the next few months.
Gendron is serving a life sentence after pleading guilty to state charges in connection with the shooting.
