Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Officials in the City of Buffalo responded to a partial collapse of a church on Hertel Avenue on Wednesday in North Buffalo.
The Buffalo Fire Department first got the call of a partial first-floor collapse at North Gate Christian Community, located at 60 Hertel Avenue, at approximately 10:55 a.m. on Wednesday.
One civilian sustained a hip injury as a result of the incident.
Emergency responders, including the Buffalo Fire Department personnel and National Fuel crews, arrived on the scene to assess the situation and ensure public safety.
Officials are currently investigating the cause of the collapse.
