Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A man is dead after an early-morning shooting in Buffalo.
Officers from E district responded to the 1800 block of Bailey Avenue at 3:06 a.m.
A man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was taken to ECMC where he would die from his injuries.
An investigation is underway,

Shots fired call on Lisbon Avenue
Nearly an hour before the previous incident, at 2:21 a.m. E district officers responded to a shots fired call at the 500 block of Lisbon Avenue.
Officers and detectives started an investigation.
An arrest was made after officers obtained a search warrant.
Police also recovered a large amount of ammunition and a gun.
Charges in that case are pending.
