Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A man is dead after an early-morning shooting in Buffalo on Friday.
Officers from E district responded to the 2800 block of Bailey Avenue at 3:06 a.m., where they found the man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where he would die from his injuries.

Police are also investigating a shots fired call on Lisbon Avenue nearly an hour before the previous incident.
At 2:21 a.m., E district officers responded to a shots fired call at the 500 block of Lisbon Avenue.
Officers and detectives started an investigation, and eventually made an arrest after officers obtained a search warrant.
Police also recovered a large amount of ammunition and a gun.
Charges in that case are pending.
