Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Portions of Glenwood Avenue on Buffalo's East Side were closed for a few hours Monday afternoon following a multi-jurisdictional police effort.
Buffalo police are mum on the circumstances, but it was confirmed they joined the U.S. Marshals' Violent Fugitive Task Force office in the incident along Glenwood Avenue's 800 block.
Also spotted were New York State Police and a SWAT mobile.
Police referred further inquiries to the U.S. Marshals' Office and the U.S. Attorney, Western Region Office.
