Buffalo, NY (WBEN) As the Buffalo Bills prepare for the AFC Championship Game vs. Kansas City, the Bills Mafia have a couple of chances to get their hands on some gear this weekend before the big game.
26 Shirts will be holding a pair of pop-up events Friday and Saturday. You can go to the Tri-Main Building Friday from 11am-2pm and to Fabulous Flowers Saturday from noon-3pm to get your last minute shirts for the game. "People want something now so we want to make it easy for people to get their gear for this weekend," says Dan Gigante of 26 Shirts. 26 Shirts normally does most of its business online.
Gigante says there will be mafia gear shirts as well as some mystery shirts. "It's assorted shirts from the years people can pick," explains Gigante. He hopes the recently made "How Buffalo Won the Division" shirt will be made available as well.
Saturday, The Quarter on Virginia Place in Buffalo will host a "Name Your Price" pop-up event for special "A17entown" tees. "It starts at $5. Anything more than that will go back to restaurants and businesses in the city of Buffalo," says Tim Walton, who is teaming up with The Quarter's Brandon Carr.
Walton says the shirts are available for the first 1,000 people on a first come, first served basis. "You can stop by from 1-4pm. We have small through XL," says Walton. You can see the shirt's design above. "If you can't make it out, you can order online at shirtvibes.com for $5 dollars plus shipping," and Walton adds there's a tip button to add an extra donation.
Walton says restaurants and businesses have been hit hard by restrictions over the past couple of months, and this is a way to help recoup revenue lost during this time frame.
The Bills play Kansas City for the AFC Championship Sunday night.
