(WBEN) Saturday afternoon around 1:30 the Niagara County Sheriff's Office received a call reporting a possible body in the lower Niagara River along Lower River Road, in Youngstown.
A Niagara County Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol Unit, with the assistance of the Coast Guard, secured the body of a female and brought her ashore at Coast Guard Station.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Criminal Investigative Bureau responded and is continuing to investigate
