Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A day after Pegula Sports and Entertainment and Erie County announced a requirement of proof of vaccination to enter Highmark Stadium and Key Bank Center, a local concert promoter says he's not overly concerned about ramifications from the policy.
Chris Ring of After Dark Entertainment says he's not worried because New York is closing in on the 70 percent vaccination goal. "Obviously, we're seeing an uptick right now as things are returning indoors," says Ring.
Ring says at the same time, they're trying to return to normal. "We've been shuttered for so long. A lot of businesses were shuttered when we did Playoffs in the Patio last time," notes Ring.
Ring notes bars and concert halls are in the mass gathering business, so anytime there's a restriction on capacity, it restricts the amount of revenue. "It's unfortunate because our overhead is fixed," says Ring.
