BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN).......With three more $1 million-plus home sales recorded in the Erie County Clerk's office, the county has seen six private residences this week alone go for north of that key residential real estate threshold.
And, Erie County - this year - has seen 95 homes sell for more than $1 million, with the county pacing towards a record 110 homes exceeding the $1 million sales benchmark.
In the latest deals, two Delaware District homes - located just a few blocks from each other - sold for more than $1 million and Clarence recorded its 34th house - this year - to go for more than seven figures.
The deals:
* A nearly century-old house at 84 Middlesex Road sold for $2.05 million - making it one of the largest - price-wise - private residences in Buffalo to sell this year.
Constructed in 1930, the four-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot house sits near Delaware Park and just off of Delaware Avenue.
* Just a few blocks away from the 84 Middlesex Road house, a five-bedroom, 4,200-square-foot house at 137 Nottingham Terrance sold for $1.25 million.
Built in 1967, the house is one of the newest ones constructed on Nottingham Terrace.
The Middlesex Road and Nottingham Terrace homes were the 11th and 12th, this year in Buffalo, to sell for more than $1 million.
Last year, Buffalo had 21 homes sell in the seven-figure range.
* And, in Clarence a four-bedroom house at 8928 Williams Court sold for $2.9 million.
The decade-old house has 5,000-square-feet and sits on more than three acres of land.
The sale of homes going for more than $1 million are considered a key economic benchmark within the region's residential real estate industry.
