ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WBEN)......Erie County's hot streak of seeing homes selling for north of $1 million continues.
Three suburban homes sales, all recorded Aug. 31 in the Erie County Clerk's office, all sold for more than $1 million, which is considered a key economic benchmark in the region's residential real estate industry.
And, one of the homes sold for more than $2.4 million.
With the three deals, Erie County is up to 82 homes - this year - selling for more than $1 million.
The deals:
* A six-bedroom, 8,100-square-foot house at 29 Green View Trail in Orchard Park sold for $2.425 million.
The house, built in 2005, is in the upscale Summit at Scherff subdivision.
For Orchard Park, it was the 24th house, this year, to sell for more than $1 million.
Last year, Orchard Park had 17 homes sell for more than $1 million.
* A four-bedroom house at 5815 Newhouse Road in Clarence became that town's 27th house, this year to sell for north of $1 million.
The six-year-old 2,556-square-foot house sold for $1.4 million.
Clarence, last year, reported 30 homes for selling beyond the $1 million threshold.
* A new-build house at 17 Fieldstream Lane in Lancaster sold for $1.046,744.
Erie County is pacing for 110 homes to be sold for above the $1 million benchmark, surpassing last year's record of 105 homes going for more than $1 million.
