BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN).....Buffalo Bills uber-fan Therese Forton-Barnes was part of the 60/40 club during yesterday's Bills-Raiders games.
That's in the fact that Allegiant Stadium was filled, by at least 60 percent, with Bills fans.
That, in a snapshot, serves as how well the Bills fan travel when their team hits the road.
"Being a Bills' fan cuts across so many ages and demographics," Forton-Barnes said.
Bills fans travel so well - perhaps the best in the NFL - that when the schedule comes out the NFTA works with airlines at Buffalo Niagara International Airport to add flights.
Last week, Southwest added two direct Los Angeles flights and one to Las Vegas.
Both sold out within days.'
"Going to a Bills' road game is like a rite of passage," says Elizabeth Carey, AAA of Western and Central New York spokesperson.
Virtually of the AAA road trips that center on Bills' games sell out.
While there some Bills' travelers during the Super Bowl era in the early 1990s., the Bills Mafia is more likely to follow the team - regardless of the location.
"It's a bond we have," Forton-Barnes said.
