Niagara Falls, NY (WBEN) State Parks Police in Niagara Falls now say the search for a 15 year old who fell into the water earlier this week is now a recovery mission.
Major Clyde Doty told reporters 15 year old Kameron Stenzel slipped into the waters while fishing with father on Monday.
Late Thursday, New York State Parks Police stated a male body was recovered by Canadian authorities in the area of Niagara on the Lake.
At this time a positive identification has not been made.
Doty says there's been an intense air and water search over the last 72 hours as Stenzel did not resurface. "Our hearts are broken," says Doty, who says this has been ruled accidental.
Stenzel was a student at Niagara Wheatfield High School.
