(WBEN-Buffalo, NY) A fatal shooting reported around 2:20 Sunday morning.
It happened in the vicinity of Playter Street and Kent Street.
A male was struck by gunfire and was declared dead at the scene.
Authorities are attempting to identify the victim.

Buffalo Police are looking for a suspect who robbed and shot a man late Friday night on Woodlawn Avenue near Wohlers.
The victim was taken to ECMC where he is in stable condition. The robber got away with money and the man's cellphone.
Around 10 o'clock Friday night another man was shot on Marigold Avenue in Buffalo. He was taken to ECMC in critical condtion.
In Niagara Falls, police were called to the 11-hundred block of Whitney Avenue yesterday morning to check the welfare of a man sitting in a truck. When they got there, they found 61-year old Marty Kick of the Falls dead from a gunshot wound.
The shooting death is under investigation and police are asking for the public's help.
