AMHERST, N.Y. (WBEN).....For the second time in recent weeks, a tony house in Snyder has sold for more than one million dollars - making it the 45th private residence in Erie County - this year - to sell for more than $1 million key economic threshold.
In the latest deal, a house at 902 LeBrun Road sold for $1.625 million.
The six-bedroom, nearly 4,000-square-foot house was constructed in 1900.
The deal follows one from earlier in June that saw a house at 33 Ruskin Road sell for $1.165 million.
For Amherst, this marks the fourth time this year a house has sold for more than $1 million.
Of the 45 $1 million-plus home sales recorded this year by the Erie County Clerk's office, Orchard Park is leading with 17 deals.
Erie County remains on a pace to see a $1 million-plus home sale recorded in the clerk's office once every four days.
At that pace, the county may see at least 85 homes sell this year for more than $1 million.
Last year, the county a record with 105 $1 million-plus home sales.
The sale of $1 million-plus home sales serves as a key economic benchmark within the region's residential real estate industry.
