West Seneca, N.Y. (WBEN) - After a one-car crash back in August, Starpoint superintendent Sean Croft was convicted of a DWI on Tuesday night in West Seneca Town Court.

Judge Jon Minear found Croft guilty of one count of Driving While Ability Impaired and one count of Unsafely Moving from a Lane. Tuesday's trial had no jury and lasted one hour.

Croft had swerved unsafely in-and-out of his lane before crashing into a tree on Nina Terrace near East and West Road for a single-vehicle crash last year on Aug. 31. Police responded to the call at around 3:30 p.m., in which Croft had driven off the roadway.

Croft's license has been revoked for 90 days, and has been sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge, plus fines and surcharges.
