New York State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash involving a state trooper early Saturday morning.
According to police, the trooper was on the side of the I-190 north in Buffalo, investigating a crash, when his vehicle was struck.
The crash happened about 5:30am Saturday.
The trooper suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
