Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A former Canisius University student admitted Tuesday to making a threat to the school back in August.

Wyatt Losi pleaded guilty to making a threat of mass harm after he posted a threat directed toward Canisius University on a social media platform. The 18-year-old was a student at Canisius at the time of the incident.

Losi faces a maximum of 90 days in jail when he is sentenced on Tuesday, March 11. He remains released on his own recognizance, as the charge is a non-qualifying offense for bail.

A temporary stay away order of protection remains in effect, which prohibits Losi from being near the university.
