Suspect arrested in Buffalo General bomb threat

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo Police has made an arrest in connection to a bomb threat made against Buffalo General Hospital back on March 17.

Lordseth Phoenix, 31, of Corfu, NY has been charged with 2nd degree false reporting of an incident, a felony, and making a threat of mass harm, a misdemeanor.


Police say a 911 call came in from the hospital claiming an improvised explosive device (IED) would be placed in the parking garage.

Hospital security and Buffalo Police K9 officers conducted a search but found no threat. An investigation was immediately started by the Threat Management Unit with an arrest being made this Tuesday.
