Cheektowaga, N.Y. (WBEN) - Cheektowaga police say the same convenience store on French Road was robbed three times over a two-day period by the same suspect.

The first robbery happened early Wednesday morning at around 2:30 a.m. when police say someone with a shotgun robbed Joe's Kwik Mart. Detectives were able to recover an abandoned shotgun left near the scene.

20 hours later at around 10:30 p.m., another robbery happened at the convenience store, this time with a knife displayed by the suspect. Police say patrol cars were assigned more heavily to the area, and a general description of the possible involved vehicle was given to officers.

Then at around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, police say the same suspect robbed the store again, displaying a knife. Officers were then able to locate the suspect's vehicle while it fled from the area.

Brian White, 37-years-old of Depew, was arrested and charged with three counts of first degree robbery and three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon. He was held for arraignment, where he was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center.
