Hamburg, N.Y. (WBEN) - Ten Lives Club has landed a new headquarters and cat adoption site, with a little help from "Bills Mafia" and Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass.
The local cat rescue and adoption group paid $750,000 for a vacant, former adult entertainment club at 3747 Lakeshore Road in Hamburg, buying it from 24KT Solid Gold Inc.
The 7,388-square-foot building went on the local real estate market earlier this year.
For Ten Lives Club, a significant portion of the funds it used to acquire the building came from more than $400,000 Bills fans raised in honor of Bass following the backlash of a missed field goal in the 2023 NFL Playoffs.
Bass selected Ten Lives Club as the primary local not-for-profit he backs.
After the building is renovated, Ten Lives Club will be relocating from its current Blasdell headquarters and adoption center on Milestrip Road.
The move should take place later this fall.
