Buffalo Bisons return home Aug 10

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Buffalo Bisons announced Monday that the team will return home to Sahlen Field in downtown Buffalo, Tuesday August 10 against the Rochester Red Wings.

Single game tickets for the remaining Bisons home games go on sale on July 26 at 10 a.m., days before the Blue Jays returns to Canada. The game against the Red Wings will start at 7:05 p.m.


The Bisons have not played a game in Buffalo since August of 2019.

Bisons season ticket holders and fans with existing ticket credits from the 2019 season will receive direct communication from the team on options for applying those credits this season.

The Bisons will play 23 home games to finish out their season in Buffalo.

The Buffalo Bisons organization is expressing gratitude to the Toronto Blue Jays and the Trenton Thunder organizations for their ongoing support and unparalleled teamwork and cooperation during this extraordinary season.

The Bisons have been playing "home" games this year in Trenton, New Jersey.
Last year, their season was canceled.

The Blue Jays are finishing their time in Buffalo. They host three games against the Boston Red Sox before hitting the road and eventually returning to Rogers Centre on July 30.

The Blue Jays announced Sunday that their return to Rogers Centre will have a limited crowd, with 15,000 fans instead of the stadium's full 53,000 person capacity.

The Bisons say additional information on tickets, gameday promotions, and ballpark policies will be announced in the coming days.
