They determined there is no threat to the safety of the school, or anyone in it. On behalf of the Board of Education, and our entire school district, I want to thank the Hamburg Village Police Department for their swift action today and their constant partnership. We are also grateful to the Orchard Park Police Department for bringing their K-9 Unit to Hamburg High School to search the property."
The district says any threat made is always taken extremely seriously and is thoroughly investigated. "The safety of our students, staff, and community is of utmost importance. We will ensure that the person responsible for this threat will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," adds the district.
