Attica, NY (WBEN) Three inmates at Attica Correctional Facility are charged in connection with the death of a fourth back in July.
Wyoming County prosecutors say 25 year old Brian Johnson is charged with second degree murder, gang assault and promoting prison contraband, 30 year old Jacob Blakney is charged with gang assault and assault and 26 year old Caleb Casteline is charged with gang assault, assault and promoting prison contraband.
Prosecutors say the indictment was a result of an investigation by New York State Police and the New York State Department of Corrections concerning the death of Joaquin Bullock and the alleged assault of another inmate on July 17th at Attica.
The three are in DOCCS custody and if released will be held without bail.
