Stafford, N.Y. (WBEN) - Three people are dead after a single-car crash in the Town of Stafford early Sunday morning.
A call reporting a crash came in at 2:01 a.m. Sunday, June 14.
A 2012 Nissan Altima driven by 23-year-old Joseph Martinez of Pavilion was traveling north on Prole Road when it drove off the road and struck a tree.
Martinez and two other passengers, 23-year-old Dylan Pehrson and 22-year-old Megan Merrell, both from Batavia, were all pronounced dead at the scene.
New York State Police, the Stafford Fire Department, Town of Batavia Fire Department and Mercy EMS all responded to the crash.
An investigation is being conducted by the Genesee County Sheriff's Investigative Division and Crash Management Team.
