Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Toronto is buzzing with excitement as 12-time Grammy-winning pop star Taylor Swift will play six nights at Rogers Centre in 2024 — Nov. 14-16, and Nov. 21-23.
So-called "Swifties" have been scrambling to get on the list for the chance to buy tickets to Swift's concerts in Toronto, but one secondary ticket company manager says be patient if you're not able to get them at the box office.

"You can expect prices to be about triple what the face value is at the box office," says Nick Giammusso of VIP Tix. He says fans can expect a challenge to get tickets, much like her other shows that she's had this year. He says the verified fan registration is open now. "You can log in to Ticketmaster and get get verified. And that'll give you the opportunity to purchase tickets when they go on sale on Wednesday," explains Giammusso.
If you're not fortunate to get tickets that way, Giammusso is stressing patience. "It's going to be a fear of not getting tickets, but I can assure you with 300,000 tickets that are floating around out there you're definitely going to get seats," says Giammusso, with tickets being more attractive going into next year.
Giammusso says he's seen tickets settle on secondary sites for Swift's shows in Los Angeles this week. "They were starting at $1,500. And up, you can get a ticket in LA for tonight, or early next week for $450," reminds Giammusso. Rogers Centre in Toronto has 50,000 seats, and there will be six shows. "The demand is crazy, for sure. But it's a lot of tickets for them to sell. And you'll see prices settled down a lot as we get closer to the shows," notes Giammusso. He says the good seats will probably go for $3,500 and close to $1,000 for 500 level seats.
