Niagara Falls, NY (WBEN) State Parks Police say a Niagara Falls man drove his truck into Niagara Gorge Wednesday night.
Parks Police say they got a call just before 6:30PM near the Aquarium. Officers say they found 42-year-old Mark Heugan of Niagara Falls, NY.
They say he was suffering from injuries consistent with an accident and upon investigation they determined Heugan had driven a 2008 Toyota Tundra through a fence and into the Niagara Gorge in the area of Depot Avenue near the Whirlpool Bridge.
There are no other victims. Heugan was transported to ECMC by AMR ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are trying to find a way to remove the truck from the gorge.
