Lockport, N.Y. (WBEN) - Two people are dead after a single-car crash in the 5300 block of Ridge Road in Lockport that happened around 6:30 Wednesday evening.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office says a preliminary investigation found the 2021 Corvette was heading west on Ridge Road when it left the roadway on the north side and struck a culvert. The vehicle then rolled over multiple times.
An 83-year-old male from Cheektowaga who was driving the car and a 73-year-old female passenger from Williamsville were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
