Preliminary investigation determined a vehicle traveling Eastbound (wrong-way) in the Westbound lane struck another vehicle traveling Westbound. The wrong-way operator was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other two occupants of the other involved vehicle were transported to the hospital for serious injuries.
